Baby clothes are small and cute, but their size always makes it difficult to fold them neatly or store them.
Your wardrobe is sometimes a mess with baby socks and jumpsuits, you can’t even find what you need.
But don’t be discouraged!
How to fold newborn clothes “super” quickly but “extremely” neatly
Find a smooth plane with a large area
The desk or the bed is not a bad choice at all.
You can also spread a clean towel or blanket on the floor and fold them there.
Take out all the clothes your baby wears from your closet so you can easily practice them effectively.

Folding baby bodysuit (overalls)
The first thing you need to do is turn your baby’s overalls upside down.
Then fold the sleeves over the back of the suit in turn.
Finally, fold the lower body of the bodysuit by bringing it up, twice until they touch the nape of the collar.
Attention:
- For short-sleeve suits, fold them in a straight line along the back of the garment.
- For long-sleeve suits, fold them at a downward angle along the back of the bodice. This helps to minimize wrinkling of your baby’s clothes.
Fold baby t-shirt
As above, turn the back of your baby’s t-shirt upside down.
Then, slowly fold the baby’s sleeve inward following the seam from the shoulder blades.
Take the bottoms of the shirt and fold them up to about mid-back.
Next, take the bottom part of the folded part, fold it up until it reaches the bottom of the collar.
Flip them upside down, now you can practice on another shirt.
Folding newborn pants
How to fold pants is very simple, you just need to spread them out on a flat surface.
Then fold the two legs over each other, then fold the leg from bottom to top.
Folding baby sleep suit (Sleepsuit)
Same as bodysuit, but this suit has a longer leg.
The way to fold this suit is very simple, you will still put the back of the suit on top, then fold the two sleeves inward at a downward angle.
Fold the bottom of the suit, from the hips to the top.
Then flip it over and you’re done.
For dresses and suits
The best way to handle these suits is to hang them up instead of folding them, because when you fold them on the surface, they will appear many wrinkles and not beautiful at all.
jackets and outerwear
Ordinary life jackets or winter coats are difficult to fold and will also take up a lot of space if you keep them in the closet.
If you have a large storage area, you can fold the sleeves and fold them in half vertically like the shirts above.
If your baby’s storage space is limited, you can save space in the closet by investing in plastic bags and hangers.
Put bulky shirts in a cellophane bag and vacuum it up. You can then hang them on the closet.
